Teck Lee mixed rice & porridge
When you live and work in Singapore, the most frequent stall one would visit will be the mixed rice stall.
Today I would like to share a mixed rice stall that is nearby , which is welcomed by many, as the choice of food is so many.
It's called the Teck Lee mixed rice & porridge, which occupies the largest food stall here.
During lunch or dinner peak hours, long queue is expected in this stall-at least will be 15 people ahead of you.
The price of the food is listed on the wall, but guess what, I didnt really take note how much each dish costs but just order whatever I like.
At any one time, there is 20plus dfferent dishes for you to choose .
Most of the time, one will have difficulty to choose as all looks nice. Or you can overcome the difficulty by coming everyday to choose different dish. haha.
The most attractive part to us in this stall is their porridge, which they cook with Thai Fragrant rice which is very tasty to eat even with plain porridge!
This is what we ordered yesterday, looks so tempting right? me myself also cant stand but plan to visit this stall again tomorrow
And guess what, the price is reasonable also with a slice of fried fish. SGD8.50 for this meal. No wonder workers from nearby factories like this stall so much!
