Lucuma restaurant in Barcelona
Yesterday my friend Marina and I were in the mood for a vegan dinner. Looking on the internet, we found the restaurant "Lucuma" in the "El Clot" neighbourhood of Barcelona.
We looked at the best rated vegetarians and vegan restaurants in Barcelona and it didn't disappoint!
Also, if you book through the website "El Tenedor" you get a 50% discount on the dishes you choose (not applicable on drinks).
The place was very quiet and there was jazz music in the background. The menu was quite extensive with many types of vegetarian and vegan dishes and was divided into several starters, pasta dishes (macaroons, spaghetti, cannelloni or vegetable lasagna...), pizzas, hamburgers (lentils, chickpeas, tofu, vegetables...), toasts with tomato, hummus, avocado... and several vegetable or rice dishes. As a curiosity, there were many drinks to choose from, including beers, but none of them with alcohol.
We chose three dishes to share.
Spinach cannelloni
Pistachio cream pizza, as we thought it was an original dish we had never tried before,
And vegetable seitan with baked potatoes.
To drink we took orange juice
We left very satisfied and it is a place to repeat and try new vegetarian and vegan dishes :)
