Card 1 - The Hermit - No. 9
The Hermit carries the wisdom of the ages within himself and only needs the support of his staff and the light he carries. Of course, this is very metaphorical yet literal for you to see that all you need is you. If you are not already withdrawing yourself from outward, earthly distractions to hide away for some much needed time of reflection, you will soon be doing so.
The Hermit is a major arcana card which means that this is an integral time for you. Take the time to self-love, self-reflect, and to go within to seek the answers you need for your spiritual and physical growth at this time. This may be a time for understanding where you are headed on your life's path or perhaps you are wondering what it is that you have learned thus far. Maybe it is time to pick up your journaling again and write down what is coming to you from spirit. You are being guided very strongly right now and they are encouraging you to be strong and persevere to achieve your goals.
Another meaning of the Hermit card is that you may be contemplating arranging your schedule and making priorities to maximize efficiency throughout your day. You are determined to make better use of your time and also, you are wanting to let go of those that choose to distract you from your purpose. It is time for you to do it "Your Way."
Courage
"I find the inner strength to face fear with confidence"
The Courage card comes to you today to help remind you that part of the challenge of being a soul is learning to honor your own power. By listening to your inner voice and following its advice, you are acknowledging the perfection of your intuition. Fear is only an illusion, and obstacles are great opportunities for you to demonstrate that coming from a place of love will conquer all of fear's many disguises.
Perhaps you are changing career paths or entering or exiting a relationship. This test has been put before you because it is an opportunity to prove to yourself that you, and only you, can make the correct decision. By not taking that step forward you may find yourself two steps back only to face that same obstacle again.
Card 2 - 7 of Cups Reversed
It is great to see the 7 of Cups in the reversed position as this stresses clear, logical thinking on your part. It is a time of making realistic plans and setting your priorities in order. With the cups upside down, you could have already decided which cups no longer are working well for you and you are choosing new directions in which to place your focus now. You are probably right now setting your intentions to finding the perfect solution for you.
Some of the things that you held dear to your heart in the past no longer have a hold on you. It has been very hard on you but you have chosen to move on and evaluate the lessons that they brought for you. Today is a new day for you to focus on receiving clarity from your own intuition and inner guides to direct you where you are to go as you enter this next cycle of your journey.
Growth
"I want to expand my consciousness and my awareness"
You are constantly being presented with situations that enable you to develop your inner wisdom and assist you in advancing to higher levels of understanding. The lesson is to be aware of these events and recognize them for what they are. To live a mindful life is not only about respecting and honoring those around you; it is also about recognizing every person and circumstance on your path as a teacher. The constant chatter and diversions of life on Earth can distract you from the signposts that Spirit has left on your path.
Take the time to be aware of the bountiful wisdom that has been laid before you. Acknowledge these gifts and take them to heart as you continue your sojourn in this physical dimension. Don't look for the opportunities that you think you need; instead, be receptive to the opportunities that are given.
Card 3 - Knight of Pentacles
Everyone loves to see a knight appear in their reading for this means that something you have been waiting for is finally coming through. It could represent an area of your life, whether concerning work, relationships, money, health or something you simply have wanted to do for yourself. You may even want to start visiting that gym again to get yourself back into physical shape. Be patient for your desires are about to manifest.
The second meaning of this card can represent a steadfast, trustworthy man in your life who is on the younger side. He is often the mover and shaker with one of these Earth signs: Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. He is very conscientious and reliable and pays attention to detail. This knight in your life can offer you stability, value, security, and dependability. This may also mean that you or the knight are tackling a project in a practical, methodical manner, or you are offering your loyalty and service to another.
Right now, you are concentrating on conserving your resources, making a long term investment, or wondering if you can maintain a property. These are probably your present concerns and your commonsense approach for examining the facts and details will help you to know what you can achieve.
Indecision
"I use my intuition in all aspects of life"
Your soul is Spirit manifested in this physical dimension. Even though you may feel limited by the constraints of your body, your connection to the infinite wisdom of the Universe is always available to you in the form of intuition.
You are never alone when making any decision. Spirit only wants the best for you, and by listening to your inner voice, you will always be guided to the proper outcome. All you have to do is ask. The expectation of others is only an illusion. You were not born to listen to fear; you were taught to listen to it.
Visualize any decision in your life as a fork in the road. How does your body react when you imagine your travels down each path? At first glance, one may look easier to traverse, but the destination will cause anxiety and a heavy heart; another path may be more difficult to walk, but the destination will feel light and calm. When you silence your mind and listen to your intuition, the signposts will always be obvious. Trust yourself and follow your heart.
