How To Be Talented Hunter in Steemhunt

Well... I think is the greatest opportunity for me for described about being a talented hunter on Steemhunt although I am not talented (just useless hunter😂) but experience is the best teacher, for almost my 1 years journey in beloved platform steemhunt.

Let's explore it with simple words

What's Steemhunt and Steemhunter

Steemhunt is a community ranking platform for fans of technology and innovation based on STEEM blockchain, everyone can share about technology and innovation posts, discuss and get rewards in hunt token and Steem. Steemhunt is the one part of the 3 pillars of the HUNT Platform, Steemhunt-Reviewhunt-Ideahunt. In simple words if you want to update about the latest things from your sleeping time to waking up again, what happened in this world about technology and innovation, Steemhunt is the right platform. In addition to meet with technology fans from all over the world, you will also get rewards from your contributions there. So steemhunter is everyone who actively contributes to posting technology and innovation products on the steemhunt platform.

For the first, I can't say that they're talented steemhunters. Like I said that I am not a good talented hunter in hunting and always on the leaderboard. But once again 1 year contributed to steemhunt teaching me many things. Here's the following tips for becoming a talented steemhunter from my version:

1. Explore and learn about the steemhunt platform and how it works on the website , it is mandatory for every user to know the vision and mission of the steemhunt platform as a whole.
2. Dig and find the cool product, use your skills to find cool products.
3. Start your first post, important note "Don't post Duplicate hunt because it's not allowed in Steemhunt" so always check your product name / product link on the Steemhunt searching button.
4. Always following the Posting guidelines. this is Hard warning that you must concern about it.
5. Increase your user score by more active on the Steemhunt website, because the user score is like your life at Steemhunt. Vote in others hunter post, discussion in comments section, stake your token hunt, post everyday hunt, don't be spammers. FYI: you will just get the steemhunt upvote if your hunt enters 100 leaderboard and your user score is more than 1.
6. Join in the discord, or telegram channels and interact with other hunters or just greeting in the #coffee-lounge channel. You will be warmly welcomed by @chuuuckie master. Including your joke questions that are not important will always be answered one by one by him. He's a good and friendly barista although his coffee is just a standard value. 😂

How and where to dig the cool product

If everyone asks where is the best website to dig the cool product. For specifics I have no special place. There are some that I usually make referrals like: Twitter, Facebook, Crowdfunding sites like (Indiegogo, Kickstarter, etc), Betalist, Dapp.com, dapp radar, Trendhunter site, New Atlas, Instagram, Channel technology on YouTube, EOS dApp, Ethereum dApp, etc. That's infinity war places, depending on our willingness to explore. But walking time being there, every hunter will know what products can always grab the attention of other hunters to give a score. Keep in mind that a person's expertise is not built in just one night, it is necessary to learn every detail of how a system works.

Although Steemhunt is not a platform for writing curation, but every hunter must be responsible for each of their hunt posts. For example, writing the description of a product's with clearly not just one or two lines of sentence. And at least the standard sentence for writing a product review.
Because there are some hunters who often use joke sentences or inappropriate explanations on the description of a product that is sometimes not even related to the product.I think is a bad for the great platform like steemhunt.

In general, all products that are hunt by hunters in Steemhunt are cool products. But because Steemhunt limits to only upvoting posts that are in the top 100 every day, of course the category becomes conical and more specific again. But not at all will be the same every day. For example, if today in the 1# rank is an application to help with autism therapy, tomorrow will no longer be the same for this category. The point is every hunter must have a sharp instinct to understand and read product opportunities in the cool category. Such as products that are useful for life, health and medical innovations, education, technological breakthroughs, environmentally friendly innovations, renewable energy, programming, etc. Here is the task of the important influencers role, where they have to help boosting good products to be visible to go up on the leaderboard and have the chance to get a high score.

A hunter's negligence is sometimes not read about posting guidelines, even though it is a condition that our products can be approved. For example about duplication, our product must be the only one product in the steemhunt website, no plagiarism in describing must be in your own language, when using the sentence from the official website do not forget to include a quotation mark, then the product name must match the name on the official website without additional links anything including trademarks, good image quality is also important and must be original from the official website, the official link must be in English. For products such as the blockchain platform, it is not only allowed to be conceptual, for example, at least the platform must have implemented ICO/IEO, coins registered in the market or at least already have beta versions for the platform.

All this is based on observations from each of detail my own hunt that get delisted from the moderator. And maybe there are still other tips from other hunter experiences. Since the beginning of joining Steemhunt I have gained value from just a reward, a hunter not only builds his reputation here. But need for interaction between fellow hunters to increase their value, especially attitude in interacting. This is an amazing community in my opinion, where a hunter must be able to help each other hunters about how the platform works. Like in discord, the team will reward us by helping to answer the questions of other hunters, discussing etc. Also every hunters establish communication about the quality of a product by embedding valuable comments in hunter's posts, everyone must care the platform by reporting other hunters that involved in alt accounts, spammers, to keep and make steemhunt a healthy platform and of course this will influential to maintain the price of hunt tokens in the market. Each hunter can also give a down rate to other hunters who only expect rewards but not with the effort to maintain a quality platform such as comments that are not related to the product, duplicate comments, comment spam etc. Curating the community, this is what I did not find on other platforms. Every way we curate hunter post for helping get scores, we also get hunt token as a rewards from how much the post that we are curate. There is no V4V because it will affect decreasing of our user score. The point is hunter must value themselves to be a quality hunter because we also get reward feedback from our activities there.
