How I Found Steemit

So how did i find out about steemit? Well, it starts of course with finding out about Bitcoin and all the other ones out there.

Finding out about Bitcoin

First lets talk about find out bitcoin was a thing and a amazing thing! So, i was about 16 and i was looking for a bank to store my money into. But, i really didn't like the idea of banks with all the fees for if you withdrawal too much or need to send a payment to another country. So i looked up alternatives and soon enough found bitcoin read up on it, found it to be amazing technology and the rest is history.

Ok, so go about a year later after discovering BTC i followed a youtuber @trevonjb and watched his videos on and off. Then one day he uploads a video on steemit and how he is putting in 80% or so of his BTC in to steem power so then he explained steemit and i went to sign up immediately and i then got confirmed 2 days later and the rest is history :)

Why Did I Immediately Signed Up?

Because at first i really didn't believe it. The fact that you publish posts and people up-vote those posts and give you money without spending dime on you. And that they get rewarded for up-voting you too! So that is one of the main reasons i did immediately sign up. Also i wanted to be a bit more social about BTC and other things so this seemed like the perfect place!
