Hi @papa-pepper - there is a glitch in the system. Users should use 4 tags until the glitch is fixed.

I missed your post, but figured people must have already solved this mystery.
When I kept seeing user after user using 5, I figured I should post on it and expose more to the info that I had!

Agreed - the more exposure this gets (until the issue is fixed) the better!
Also, the link that @jlufer shared talks about how it should not require a hardfork to fix. This is good news and hopefully means that we see a fix soon :)
Great! - Also, how many tags did you use on your post about the number of tags and the glitch? If you used 5, maybe that's why I didn't see it. (Joke)

I saw this post and a few others after losing out a few post.
:( .. if you still have any active posts with 5 tags - it 'fixes it' by changing it to 4.
