Bakasyon Noon at Ngayon
agad nagbabalik-tanaw ang kahapon.
Aking naalala’t naikukumpara
habang pinagmamasdan ang mga bata.
Ngayon ang mga kabataan nama’y magdamag na paglalaro sa computer ang hinihintay.
Hindi nagsusuntukan sa may parang,
Kundi sa loob ng internet café malamang.
walang pakialam kung sa pagkain ay malipasan.
Basta ang paglalaro ay tuloy lamang.
Ni hindi na nga nakatutulong kay inang.
Puwet ay maaaring magkaroon na ng kalyo.
Ni hindi na rin nasisikatan ng araw
Ang titig sa gadget ay nakatutunaw.
Maaaring dahil sa pag-usbong ng teknolohiya sa makabagong henerasyon.
Ngunit kahit paano man gugulin ang bakasyon,
Ang mahalaga’y sa gawaing bahay pa rin ay makatulong.
