📖Diaries from Germany - Berlin Day 1 - Brandenburg Gate
So after our failed try to enter the Reichstag bulding, we decided to go further. The next thing on our list was to visit the Brandenburg Gate which was very close to the Reichstag building. It took us only 5min to walk till there. On the way there we saw a woman, pretty well dressed, looking good and holding something in her hands to write on. She stopped us and she told us the following story. She is working for an agency which is helping the poor people and the people that have disabilities and if we are able to give some money and then to also sign our self in the list she was holding. At that point i remembered about one video i watched just 2 weeks ago on youtube, where one guy was talking about the most common scams in Prague. And yes that was one of them. This people are all scammers and they dont work for no agency or whatsoever. So after i remembered this, we went away from that woman and 1 hour later we saw almost in front of each big place in Berlin there was a sign written "Take care for the scammers which ask you for money for disabled people". The next they we met again a lot of those scammers i even tried to help one woman not to get scammed but she didnt want to hear me and she didnt believe me, so the scammers took her money :/.. Anyway
On the other side there were also some fun people around ! This guy was pretty cool. He was staying everyday there, all day long making bubbles and entertaining the kids. The kids were really loving him. At one point there were so many kids around him that i couldnt really see the guy and the bubbles, because the kids were popping them pretty fast😄 !
This gave me the opportunity to try making some cool shots but the kids were everywhere and they didnt really care about some guy with camera who is trying to take pictures 😂
So we finally arrived at the Platz des 18. März. For those who dont know the current name is to commemorate the events of 18 th March of both the year 1848 (March Revolution) and the year 1990 (first vacant Volkskammer election in the GDR). March 18th, when hundreds of civilians were killed in barricades, is considered the most significant date of the 1848 Revolution, which established liberal and democratic traditions in Germany. The 18 March 1990, on which the citizens of the GDR had decided by a large majority against the continued existence of the GDR as an independent state, stands for the recovery of German unity. There its placed now the Brandenburg Gate which is early Classicist triumphal gate and was marking the start of the road from Berlin to the town of Brandenburg and der Havel. There also its the start of the famous street "Unter den Linden" - Under the linden trees.

Why is this article tagged as "deutsch" if it is written completely in English"?
Because the story is from Germany and for me this is enough criteria to use is :))
Englisch hat gesiegt!! :D
