_{the contemplating Ape}

I think everyone would recognize that image, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Pumping Iron. The ape looks contemplating but rather disinterested. One of recurring images in my paintings from that time is a “grandfather” figure - I associate with this my own grandfather who was a large influence in my life when I was a young boy. What I am as a artist today, I have him to thank for.
