people apparently think I'm scary which I've heard from numerous people who think i "hate" them when instead i was trying to be friendly, although those encounters have throttled me into smiling whenever I meet someone new or using a friendly gesture such as a handshake or wave.
Ha, a scary friendly! That's a odd contrast of intention and reception!
