"Mantique Island Nature Park, Philippines”: A 5 Star Fine White Sand Beach Paradise

One of my favorite island hopping experience popped up earlier on my Facebook memories and I thought to share the beautiful sceneries to my Steemains especially for beach lovers like me.

Have you been to Camiguin Island or planning a trip? Then don't miss to visit Mantique Island. Highly recommended!

Mantique is one of the two islets off the coast of the volcanic island province of Camiguin. Also known as ’Island Born Of Fire’, Camiguin is located in the southern part of Mindanao in my home country, Philippines. The 4 hectares (9.9 acres) mushroom shape-like Mantique island is also used to be called as Magsaysay Island.

Transportation:

Getting to this paradise is easy. It can be reached by boat through the local tour operators in 25–30 minutes from the town of Mahinog. The boat ride cost 600 pesos or 11 usd for 6 people and an extra 150php if you want to go around the island.

The Fine Sand Beach:

The beach is very clean, with crystal clear water and very fine, talc-like powdery white sand. It's so peaceful and less crowded than the white island of Camiguin. There were only few people and you feel like you own the island for a day if you visit early in the morning (8:30 am).

Mini Forest

It has a mini forest area in the center with different varieties of trees with a trail heading to the inviting beach and it’s free to explore.

There’s balete trees, pandans but I have no idea what’s the name of the fruit below. It’s fascinating. (I should have ask the local staff😅).

Food & Service:

The people in the island are friendly and the food taste good. They have four dish variants: chicken, pork, fresh catch of sea foods and you can decide how would you like it to be cook and enjoy your meal under the shades of the trees and fresh air.

Beach Activities:

The island also offer water activities such as jetsking , snorkeling and scuba diving.

This is one of my favorite picture on our Mantique trip. This island guy is trying to make a jetski stunt or exhibition. Can you see the letter ”S”? S for ”Steemit”! 😉❤️

They have a fish sanctuary and while enjoying the crystal clear water and white sand, you have the Mount Timpoong as your backdrop.

It was me and my husband’s first time to step in Mantigue four years ago. We’re very happy and grateful to experience this beautiful secluded place and told ourselves that we would definitely go back here one day!
