In fact, the sun shines all over the world and many travel activities will lead to significant exposure whether on a beach or a mountain top. Staying safe out there is very important for all travellers.
Aside from some trying to avoid the sun burn, sun screen is an important tool to protect the skin from damaging radiation. No matter where or who you are, sun screen is an essential layer that needs to be applied before going outdoors under the sun. The sun is very much a powerful source that sits in the clouds for man hours in a day and will reign down with its radiation, indiscriminate of who or what is below it.
