Manuka for Sunday Scent experience

The flowers i bought on the market are manuka flowers - i am pretty sure since they have started to smell since i got them indoors.

Manuka oil is an Australian oil, its a relative of tea tree.
Its latin name is Leptospermum scoparium.
Like tea tree it has a very special effect on skin; especially skin that lost its capacity to hold its moists and oils, thus can get infected with bacteria or funghi.
For instance dandruff gets pretty well healed by washing your hair with a neutral shampoo through which you mix some drops of manuka oil.
And skin funghi, like petyriasis versicolor can be effectively fighted with this oil too - never use it in a base of olive oil because this yeast feeds on multiple unsatured oil, better to use coconut oil.

Manuka honey is well known for its immunity boosting capacity, but its a feast to the tast buds too: its a lovely tastful honey!

Hi Maru! Thank you and thank you for placing the link here, i guess i found your post already yesterday in the sse-feed. Have a great week my dear

🌸💗🌺☺️ thank you!

Those flowers are so so pretty!
I never had anything manuka.
The oils is available in shops/pharmacies? I would love to try it to wash my hair. Most shampoos give me terrible dandruff :/

Oooh that means that the skin on your head has trouble keeping his moist and oils. Regular shampoo makes that worse indeed. Try manuka! But i guess you must order some extremely soft neutral shampoo to add it to. You MUST dillute essentials oils or else your skin can get irritated even more.

I will keep that in mind. I can add the thing directly to the bottle?
I am actually using some castor oil to mix into a shampoo. But that I use a few drops on a hand and add a shampoo and mix it right before I put on my hair.

I think that is the best day. 3 drops must do the trick. Castor oil, i forgot about that. Very good mix you got there! Good luck my friend

I love those flowers and have never seen that, however I have often used the honey over the years. Thank you so much for sharing. Very pretty indeed.

Hi Marion! Thank you for stopping by and keep using the manuka honey 😉

Judith, I found this plant but its leaves are different. or so it seems to me .... our plant leaves like needles, and here the classical ones are only small

Yes i think so too! These flowers come in all varieties from white to dark pink. But thats possible because the myrthle familie is very, very big

Great shots. Manuka honey is my go to for every impossible to fight virus. Its extremely powerful.
