sucess comes to those who try

This is a true story of a little pup who just learned to walk. He was still wobbly in his gait and yet was determined to walk the next step to a new discovery. Everything was exciting to him. The new tid-bit of food in his pan, a sound from afar, rustle of paper, my wistling to attract him, a fly to play with and paw, the first pitter patter of rain.
The little baby was abandoned by his mom because he suffered from severe cold and she didn't want her other pup's catching the infection. So i brought him in, fell in love with him and had to just keep him. We named him Brunno.
Then came the phase where my parents wouldn't hear of having him in the house, but the little baby just didn't know so he made sure that my parents were a part of all his playful antics. Sure enough, he won them over. So this was success number one...he was family!!!
We saw him work his way out of his weak body by intense running around which made him stronger day by day. We saw his struggle with managing to stand on his bloated puppy-tummy on legs which wouldn't support him. Then, there was this really funny episode where we would walk up the first floor of our house and he would watch us from under the stairs and whine and cry for us to pick him up and take him along with us. There, was a determined look in his eyes when we didn't comply. Paws on the first step he clawed his way up only to fall down....over and over again. This was big effort for a small puppy. But.... Success comes to those who try. He fell a few hundred times. Tried to paw his way up over and over again. We saw him use his tummy to propel himself up.
Then voila! There he was over the first step....then the next... and next... and Next. We all have a lot to learn from Brunno.
