Do You Have A Personal Mission Statement?
You will hear a lot of personal success gurus and motivational speakers talk about having a strong 'reason why'...
And for good reason.
As an entrepreneur you are guaranteed to have great days that are extremely rewarding and also horrible days where you don't wanna get out of bed. It happens. It's a roller coaster! And it never really ends because it's always an adventure...
So how do you keep focused?
How do you maintain through the struggles of being in business for yourself...
For me....It was my personal mission statement!
I have it written down on a 3 x 5 index card and taped to my Moleskine journal.
It reminds me WHY I'm doing what I'm doing. It keeps me focused on my goals and allows me to remember....I'm so lucky and blessed to me working from home for so long.
****Do you have a personal mission statement?****
If not, I encourage you to take a few hours this weekend and craft your own 'reason why'. And then transfer it to a sticky note, a 3 x 5 index card or print it out on paper...And read it every single day!!!
It works :)
Note: Huge thanks to @stackin for creating the epic shirt I'm wearing in today's video....I've ben buying up a lot of the merchandise I can find created by other Steemians.....Love to support the creators here!!

That is a very good plan Jon. More folks need to do that so they know what they are there goals are
OH I agree 10000%. It changed my life, when I started writing down my goals and planning my life. Sounds all warm and fuzzy but it really does work.
Absolutely true Jon. For years I have made a vision board as well... Having a visual representation of what you want where you see it every day makes such a difference. Over the years I have achieved at least 80% of what I included. The personal mission statement is critical, it creates the roadmap to know if you are going in the right direction.
It's crazy how it works...And I used to laugh at it all but then I got into the habit of writing goals down, writing my mission statement....It works.
Freedom to do what you want is great... when you add freedom from financial... Spiritual, physical, and relationships it is huge! Having a mission statement aka reason why keeps you focused. You get what you focused on! There are so many things that can distract us... stay the course is the key! As always awesome information...
Appreciate the comments sir. And agree 10000% :)

This is such a good way to stay focused and I've used a similar plan myself many times before, I have my mission statement and goals on cards and notes which I usually revise and read over on a regular basis, it definitely helps me stay on track as without those little self reminders it would be easy to fall off the wagon and I love the shirt by the way.
There is a saying: Do What You Love! Love What You Do!
I am a performer a dancer and its these arts I practice that have changed my life for the good in so many ways. Now 10 years later I want to share my passion with others and perhaps I can inspire someone to take up a performing art that might change their life! If I can make the difference to one person then I am winning. Yes a mission statement is important! Steemit & DTube is something new I just found and wow I can earn money from posting content... Thus I can earn money to help fund performing arts projects. Yeah thats it To Inspire and Empower. I post for the love already on all platforms so now I have a chance to really do something with this journey I have started.
