RE: You Have The Right To Be Rich [Chapter 1 of The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles]

What utter garbage!

Money has no value!

The value of the money is represented by the production of real goods and services. If there were no real goods and services to buy, money would not have any value.

Imagine the planet populated only by bankers, lawyers, accountants, advertisers, politicians, and not to be forgotten, the turkey that wrote the books referred to in this post. It would be great for the planet because nothing would be happening, no production. They would be naked, starving, have nowhere to live, no cars or roads, no nothing, and their money would have no value.

The key phrase is “their money would have no value”, and this is because the sectors I have named produce nothing of primary value. Please don’t get me wrong, a complex society requires the secondary services described above but they are not entitled to a disproportionate share, of that they do not produce.

The only cause of poverty is disproportionate wealth. In order for one individual to be disproportionately wealthy many must live in poverty.
