Those marine radar dishes certainly come in all shapes and sizes, although to be fair if I was ever planning on going out on the ocean I would want some reliable kit to keep me in touch with dry land!
I don't know what the most reliable way to do that is but staying close to shore sounds ok with me : )
I used to think about sailing across the pacific when i was younger. It's hard to imagine how far and how long it would take to reach Japan from California or even further to Australia. I don't think my body could handle it now
I actually had not heard of them on Boats till this one, now I am wondering if I have been unobservant and not noticed them on boats here I will be on the lookout this summer for them
