Amazing views and skyline, the clouds in the first picture are particularly dramatic and I really admire them.
It is sad that the skill and experience of a Sawyer has now been replaced by computers and sensors - it might be more efficient but any computer would be hard pressed to beat a real human looking and understanding. No doubt the automated systems let's through far more rotten or damaged wood because the sensors missed it where a real human eye would have rejected it - but because and automated system can work so much quicker the % difference in turnover makes it worth doing.
Well, it was not too promising if you were a pig... This country was used to run hogs, which would be herded down to the hot spring in the next town over for butchering. (I was actually discussing it in the post I just made then gave the wrong tag...) There are still a few pig farmers around supplying us and our neighbors with that food of the gods, bacon!
