RE: Walking on snowy Montreal mountain

in #sublimesunday5 years ago

I have to say the photographs of the birds are stunning, so perfectly clear and detailed - my experience of little birdies like these is even when they are not flying they do not stay still - always moving head and body around.

Plenty of fresh snow for sledging, it would be a favourite in the UK except we rarely get enough snow to sledge on - or if we do then it's impossible to get anywhere that you could sledge!

The angel Statue is another epic photo, and what a sculpture - really incredible.

I'm super impressed with the Bag Pipe player - a hardy chap too he doesn't look very wrapped up and it must be cold!

I know that feeling of being more interested in eating then capturing the best photo - although to be fair it's still a good photo, both meals in which look very tasty. What's in the glass though, looks a bit like a milkshake but I can not decide.

Awesome post for #SublimeSunday, throughly enjoyed this one.

Indeed the little birds where a challenge to capture! The trick is to take a lot of pictures. Out of 50, 2 turned out reasonably well framed and focused, out of chance.

The bagpipe player was playing with such vigor, that the exercise of his diaphragm must have been enough to keep him warm. Besides it was about -2'C, which is relatively mild here.

The milkshake-like thing is a very good banana-coconut smoothie.

Thanks for your kind comment!
