Amish Ladies
My entry into #streetphotography organized @juliank and @photocontests.
Many Amish families have relocated to Prince Edward Island. They have bought and rebuilt some rundown farms and brought them back to their former glory. It’s nice to see a glimpse of the old ways in this hectic world.
I often see both men and women driving a horse-drawn buggy and shopping around town. The ladies wear the traditional dark clothing and bonnet as shown below.

That is pretty cool. I don't think I could ever live Amish. I am too fascinated with technology. LOL... That's great they are bringing new life to those old farms tho.
Thanks Liz. I don’t think I could live like them now being used to a bit of luxury with dishwasher and automatic washing machine. Yay😀 They don’t even have a telephone in the house. It is kept in a separate building outside.
They are a hard working and plough the fields the old-fashion way with plow and horses.
