Street Photography: Skateboarding in Cebu ( Entry to @juliank 's photography contest)

Margielyn Didal, one of the best skateboarders in the country, grinding on a self-made box that each skater helped with to make. There are no skate parks in Cebu and despite not having that very valuable resource, she still managed to climb her way to the top. She is one of the more persistent person I know. Not knowing when to give up is something she sees as a strength. You can usually see the skaters in Plaza Independencia, in downtown Cebu. Taken by a Nikon D3100.
