Warner Beach Sapphire Coast Street Photography
Street Photography Contest with @juliank
Coastal Village life comes alive, preparation for visitors where young and old get involved with street projects.
First three pictures are of the subway crossing under the railway lines to the beach.
A quick look up to main road Kingsway (Originally named after Richard Philip "Dick" King (1813–1871) who rode through the village on horse back, many years ago)
Next piece of history is the Hoot Bridge under the railway lines, when a local farmer felt vehicles were traveling too fast (most probably 10 km per hour) ruled that one had to hoot to alert oncoming traffic of their approach.
Our young Winklespruit Lifeguards alongside others helped clean the bridge and cut back the bush, showing the logo for looking after the surf.
Look back down the street, we still hopeful that the painting is not complete and the good old name Hoot Bridge will be painted back again.
