#11 Locals in Old Havana 哈瓦那老城区街头记忆
Hey Steemians,
My entry for #streetphotography this Friday is a photo I took on a street of Havana, Cuba.
The street is in La Habana Vieja (Old Havana), a lively and hectic district full of local charm. The doors of local homes are usually wide open, and portrait of Fidel Castro or Che Guevara is a common sight on the wall in many homes. The locals enjoy sitting outside, chatting or playing music.
各位朋友周五好！这张照片是我在古巴哈瓦那的街头拍的。
这条街在哈瓦那老城区，这块地区的居民大都是本地家庭，和不少拉美的老城区相似，虽然有些脏乱，却充满原始蓬勃的生机和活力。色彩明艳的街道建筑，喧闹拥挤的市集，浓烟滚滚的老爷车，奔跑嬉闹的孩子，原汁原味的古巴风情就在这里。当地人家几乎都是大门敞开，在门口坐着聊天或吹拉弹唱，欢声笑语，好生快活。一条街走过去，很多户的墙上都挂着卡斯特罗或切格瓦拉的肖像，这是一代人共同的记忆。

I love that place! I was there about ten years ago and much preferred those streets to the tourist spots - so many memories! ... it makes me want to dig up my photos
Cool place right? I hate that my English is not as good as my Chinese to describe the charm of it ;) Dig up your photos and show its beauty in better English please! I also took a lot of pics then in 2014, but this is the only one I found in my phone to post now when I’m on a road trip =)
I wouldn't know where to look for those photos... You did a great job with your English though.
My favourite thing about old Havana was that the music plays all day and all night... the Cuban people sure know how to party!
I have never been there.. this photo is cool but i wonder... how would it look in colour?
I’ll post more photos of Cuba in color. It’s such a colorful country! =)
