Amsterdam Street Scene - Bikes on the Canal

Whilst walking through my favourite part of Amsterdam (near the Rijksmuseum) I encountered a rather typical scene of bikes parked along the canal. One of the things that makes this one of my favourite areas is the unique street lamps all over the place like this one.

..and with those typical dutch shutters on the building in the background i knew I had to take a shot of this. It was early evening so the lights had just come on which I find adds a nice warming element to the photo.
