Whales

Being from San Francisco we happen to love the ocean and any animal associated with the ocean and that includes whales. Of course, most children love the story of Pinocchio and I was one of those kids too. There have been many boat rides taking trips out to see the whales as they migrated along the west coast and many of us got sick on those crazy adventures, but we still loved whales.

Coming to Steemit has put an entirely different spin on my childhood love of a whale and terms associated with some creatures from the sea. Depending on how we look at it, it can be a positive and fortuitous or it can be a replica of the capitalist monetary system we are all trying to deface.

Regardless, I would rather keep my love of whales and not think about what may be happening to the smaller fish and concentrate on why I am here. The last few weeks I have focused on getting used to writing, and writing a lot. Digging deeper and developing ways to express my innermost self to the public.

Honestly, so many creative people have welcomed me and gave me prompts that I still have so much to work with and that in turn gives me more to work on. I thank all of you for your guidance, positive critiques, and giving of your self on this platform.

I am growing because of you, and this is what my main focus will remain.

Please, don't get me wrong. Do I want to make tons of Steemcoin and see a nice payout for all my hard work? Hell yes! In the interim, I will remain true to myself and continue the west coast tradition of loving all creatures from the sea. Peace.
