Street Photography from the bird's eye view. One of the largest cities in the world. Welcome to the capital of Mexico!
In order to enter today´s #streetphotography contest directed by @juliank I decided to share a street view of Mexico City.
In Mexico City you won't get bored. There are of plenty things to do. I highly recommend you to visit the ruins of the Templo Mayor in the heart of the city.
They are located right next to the Metropolitan Cathedral. This Catholic mansion was built by Spaniards in order to cover the ruins of the main Aztec temple. Therefore it is very interesting to see these two controversial objects.
Quite nearby you can encounter the Palacio de Bellas Artes. This magnificent building is a mixture of a number of different architectural styles and it organizes significant events such as opera, theater, dance, literature, and music as well as provides exhibitions of sculptures, photography or painting.
Moreover, the National Museum of Anthropology is definitely worth to visit. The earlier you come the better. The museum is huge. 4 hours are not enough unless you are a ¨party pooper¨ while visiting art galleries.
Last but not least, is the archaeological site located on the central plateau, northeast of the city of Mexico that is called Teotihuacán. The name of the place comes from the Nahuatl language and can be translated as a place where people become gods. You can admire there one of the biggest pyramids in the world.
