[streemian.com] Build your own guild with 'FanBase'
It's our pleasure to announce yet another feature on Streemian: Fanbase!
This feature allows you to specify if, when and how you would like to upvote a new post of your leader.
You can fan any other account on STEEM
A few projects are currently tagged as sponsored and also carry a description
A fan can define
- a vote delay
- a voting weight (percentage)
- whether to also upvote comments
- get notified if your leader posts something STEEM
Later on, this feature will grow beyond just 'following your leader' but will allow leaders to setup their own profiles which include
- a description
- a internet address
- a profile picture
- collection of user ratings
- detailed statistics about the payouts
- and more
At this point in time, this feature is offered for free with no limitations but keep in mind that the business model might change in future.
That means you can follow as many accounts as you want (with a hard limit only to prevent abusive spamming)

Another nice enhancement. Streemian is really coming along!
If possible, next I would love to see the ability to apply tag inclusions and exclusions for both Fanbase and Curation Trail. So for example if I want to follow a particular curator's votes ONLY in the art and photography tags, then I would select "EXCLUDE all tags except:" and add those 2 tags to the list. Or for a particular author, maybe I would select "INCLUDE all tags except:" and add the nsfw tag.
I think it would also be nice to have an upper limit on votes. So I might want to give a Leader 1 vote per day. Or I might want to allocate a maximum of 10 votes in a day for following a particular curator.

Great idea, maybe some people can nominate us to become official leaders of squad and thus get surprised with extra goodness flowing our way simply for doing the right thing in relation to finding good quality posts and voting appropriately? Thanks a bunch for sharing and namaste :)

is voting enabled by default or do you need to flip the 'disabled' button to enable it?
voting on the Opening post is enabled by default ...
the enable/disable flag if you want to temporarily disable voting or if the system identifies an issue with your account and disables your fan to improve scalability .. I need to think about a nicer solution for this .. maybe a regular cronjob ..
so just the first post gets voted on or all of their posts? I set some up as an experiment and they haven't been voted on. I follow them to manually upvote anyways.

basically every post that a user does except for comments .. unless you also enable voting for comments :)

Fanbase looks like an autovoter, does that sound correct?
It looks like you set it up to upvote it's posts within a certain time, yes?
FanBase is an autovoter. You can specify your leader account and some settings and streemian will automatically upvote for your according to your settings
