Not at all! Mateus and Aurelia were the balance for each other, and when one was gone the balance failed immediately. The betrayal of their experience in the mine had infected her...
There is a backstory in my mind for all this, which I probably shouldn't share yet. It could make a good prequel to this and perhaps explain why Anakin eventually tried to murder his.... oh wait - that's a different story that I didn't even write...
