Journey to the Wonderful Land of Oz
Hi, friends!
Now in St. Petersburg, more and more playgrounds, and even entire yards, which are made thematically. I would like to invite you for a walk in a courtyard, which is located in the heart of the city.
This courtyard is decorated in the style of the fairy tale the Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Journey to the Wonderful Land of Oz
One day Dorothy and her dog Toto got into in the magical Land of Oz. The cyclone took them there. Only Wizard of Oz could help them get home.
The wizard of Oz lived in the Emerald City. They had to follow yellow brick road to get to the Emerald City.
So Dorothy and Toto went down the yellow brick road.
On her way Dorothy met the Scarecrow. Scarecrow wanted a brain, so he went to the Wizard Oz too.
Then Dorothy, Toto and the Scarecrow met the Tin Woodman. The Tin Woodman wanted a heart, so he went with his new friends to the Emerald City.
And they met a lion on their way :) But since it was a little lion, he was a little cowardly. The lion wanted to be brave.
Cowardly Lion also joined the company of friends.
The road to the Emerald City was full of dangers. Kalidahs frightened the friends, but they were able to protect themselves.
Finally, friends saw the sparkling lights of the Emerald City
The gates of the city were guarded by guards who let friends into the city.
Friends met the Wizard Oz and told him their wishes. The Wizard Oz said they must defeat the Wicked Witch of the West first.
Winged Monkeys kidnapped friends when they went to perform the task the Wizard of Oz gave them. They brought Dorothy to the Wicked Witch of the West.
Dorothy defeated the Wicked Witch of the West. The Wicked Witch was afraid of water. She melted when Dorothy poured water on her.
Friends returned to the Emerald city, where the Wizard of Oz gave the Scarecrow a diploma, and he gave the Tin Woodman a heart, and also he gave the Cowardly Lion a medal for bravery. Dorothy with Toto could not fly back home with the Wizard. The good fairy told Dorothy that she could return home with the help of magic shoes. So it happened.
