Pearlescent Poems # 10: Sincere Sorries (Original Poem)

My love queen, I apologize
For the things that I've said, when we're fighting all the time.
I know we don't, but it seems like it
Cause if we did, then the fire that we have couldn't have been ignited

So let our love fly, we need to be United
I want you close, but not because I'm near sighted
To everybody else, we appear excited
But our relationship can't progress forward if there's fear inside it

The things we've said, we're not able to take 'em back
But we can defend our love like a truth or a fact
Some people choose revenge, continuing their attacks
Just hoping to tear it down and leaving nothing intact

But I'm your lover and best friend
So come into my arms while I'm singing out to make amends
When things go wrong, we don't have to pretend
I'd rather straighten it all out, than breaking under the bend
