The Liberation (Grand Plan Series) – 'The Road' (ORIGINAL STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHS) Part #15

in #story7 years ago (edited)

After several seconds, the tension relaxes, and policeman's face expression becomes almost pleasant.
'Foreign tourists walk under the sea from time to time,' says he.
'Don't say... Why take such unnecessary risk?' I ask.
'They only create additional work for us... To acquire bragging rights,' explains the policeman, now relaxed.
'So how do you catch them?'
'Oh well, at the exit. We wait for them to come out to the light and then we process.'
'And where is the exit?' I play dumb.
'Down there...' policeman points his finger, 'See the other hidden patrols?'
'I see... And what is that between them and the tunnel?'
'Camouflage. Looking from the tunnel, they blend in with the surrounding. The left one looks like a cabin, and the right one like a gray wall.'
'So badgers walk straight into your arms...'

The policeman cannot resist flashing a proud smile. We are completely erased from the list of suspects.
'Gabriel, we must catch the bus if you want to see Paris', says Pit, just as I want to ask what do law enforcers do if the madmen don't exit the tunnel? Do they close it and search for them inside? Most importantly, have they ever known someone walked and didn't catch him?
'Goodbye fellows, have a pleasant trip,' says the policeman.
'Thank you for protecting us!'
The policeman smiles and walks back to the car.

The bus is coming, still a hundred yards away. It will take us to the station by the tunnel.
After twenty minutes wait at the bus station, we enter another bus which will take us miles north.
We are once again passing by the diligent police patrol, wasting time and resources of Islander's state budget, today.

'Life is such fun,' crosses my mind.

I still don't know when a minnow becomes a dolphin. Nice project guys and I hope I can help a little with my 25%

It looks great, I think I will start from the beginning. I'm not a native English speaker, but you make it really understandable. =D

Yep, getting there, started with heavy language... easing it up... Thank you for reading!

I guess I missed out on all other episodes. I will check it out and start from the beginning
