THE ENCOUNTER

He woke up from his little slumber and discovered that he was all alone in the class. Timmy wasn't conscious of the fact that it was already past midnight so he felt so relaxed packing up his books. Immediately he got up to leave the class, there was a power failure and everywhere went totally dark.

He peeped through the window only to discover that there was no single soul on the street of the school premises. All he could hear were crickets making noise and also the wind giving a scary sound. He was so scared at first but then he decided to take the bold step so he wore his hood cap and got walking in the snow.

Without any source of light, he was trying to find his way in the dark only for him to to stumble on a stone and the street lights flashed on him like someone was watching him and it went off again. Immediately he stood up, the light came up again and he was so surprised and very scared. As he was about moving, he felt someone tap his back. He was startled so he looked back slowly to see who was that and to his surprise, all he saw was an additional foot print on the path he followed without any traces of the person.

He ran without stopping until he got to the hostel door which he started banging loudly. While he was on it, another student from no where came to meet him by the door post and told him "don't be scared Timmy. They will soon open the door. I experienced this same thing when I was alive. On hearing this, Timmy fainted.
