Dick Fitzinwell is a tactless swordsman from idyllic Europe. He leads a cosy life. However, all that changes when Dick books a summer holiday to quiet Moscow.

At first Dick finds Moscow very hilly. Then there's the mysterious, selfish navigator, Elaine R. Over, who makes him feel scared.

When Elaine invites him on a partying expedition, Dick begins to realise that Elaine is a deeply brave and wild woman.

Dick knows in his heart that Elaine is the woman for him. However, to secure his happiness, Dick must fend off the spiteful swordsman, Eaton Beaver, who wants to get his claws into Elaine.

Using her killer dice and a mutual love of comedy, Dick sets out to snare Elaine once and for all. But will the selfish swordsman return his affections?
