Frustration Into Marriage - The African Mentality.

Hello friends, today I will be telling you a story about a lady who was successful but you know for most Africans, no matter how rich or successful you are, you need to put a ring on your finger in order to certify the level of success you have attained. For Ladies especially, you have to get married in order to show that are truly successful (that is for most African parents), as long as they are concerned, there is no amount of success or happiness you can claim to have achieved without marriage.

So this young lady had her life going pretty well with a good job and nice friends and family members who never made her feel lonely.
However, the story changed on her 32nd birthday, when she was happy and she wanted to celebrate her birthday in a grand style, her mother shocked her when she asked her what the reason for the celebration was? She was shocked at the question, and she stared at her Mum continuously not knowing what exactly to say next, she quickly smiled and said Mum I promise you that by this time next year, I will bring home a man I can call husband, this was the only medicine that could lift up her mother's soul at that moment and it sure made her smile, that was the only thing that could make the lady have a peaceful birthday celebration and she got one.

The year however ran so fast that another birthday celebration came sooner than expected, it was at that point she realized that she had not gotten a man to present to her Mother.
There was no other option than to beg a random guy on the street to pretend to be her boyfriend, she could not think of any other lie to save her head from her mother's trouble.
She had no idea that the guy in question was a thief until he stole her precious diamond necklace she admires so much, she was angry with herself for making such stupid decision and also angry with her mother for pushing her into performing such crazy act just to make her mother happy.

This however, made her mother calm and she stopped pressurizing her to bring a man home, she decided to wait for the right man come her way.
