How i made a Crash Bandicoot figure
Hello, I will tell you about process of making a figure of Crash Bandicoot that i made for my girlfriend a couple of months ago :)
This photo shows all stages of work:
I have 3d printer so main quest was to find a good 3d model. I found it on thingiverse.com :)
I printed it smaller because i did not have 2 days for printing
90% it's done (it would take me years of light to do a 3 model with this quality) :D
After that i printed this model (sorry for quality of photos):
Then i removed supports:
It looks better but still not acceptable so i had to sand whole model with sandpaper and file:
let's get ready to rumble
more sanding...
...and more sanding...
OK, FINALLY SHOULD BE ENOUGH (i was tired :D)
The best part - PAINTING (i love it but i see like a mole :P)
After painting i designed in Fusion 360 "floor" for Crash and i glued it to him.
That's all. It was my first story ever so let me know if You want more stories (for example: "glass-case" for this figure). Sorry for my english and Thank you to everyone who came here and did not fall asleep during the scrooling :)
