Tibesti
(Arabic تيبستي, fr. Tibesti) - a mountain plateau (highlands) in central Sahara, located mainly in the north of the state of Chad and partly in the south of Libya.
The highest point of the highlands (as well as Chad and the whole Sahara) is the active shield volcano Emi Kousi (Emi Koussi), reaching 3445 meters in height.
Mount Bikku-Beatty (Arabic: العربية), also referred to as the mountain, is the highest point of Libya (2267 m).
The central part of Tibesti is formed by five shield volcanoes with large calderas - Emi-Kusi (3,445 m), (3,265 m 2), Tarsko-Vun (3,100 m [3]), Tarso-Yeega (2,972 m) and Tarso- Tun 2575 m).
