Add this- you took a generator and pried open a gas pump at a gas station, then used the generator to operate the fuel pump and fueled up the vehicles and every fuel container you could find. You can hit that location again, just replace the cover on the gas pump an leave the wires dangling for easy access. you find a home depot or lowes and obtain machetes, seeds garden tools, spare generator, water filtration equipment, and return to base. You venture out again- this time to raid all of the pharmacies you can find, for medical supplies- and return to base. You find a building with solar panels, rip them off- return to base with the panels, and inverter and a small refidgerator to store pershiable medications, etc, and you pick up a few survivors and vehicles along the way. You raid the NAPA, and other auto stores for batteries, cables and other supplies to keep the inverter going- so youdont have to waste gasoline and you make it a point to enter from the roof- a lesson learned to save the supplies inside. The garden produces its first vegetables and you enjoy the with your comrades. Next you hit a firarms and sporting goods store to find ammunition, more rifles, knives and body armor to protect the ones who venture out. you also hit an electronics store and obtain shortwave and ham radios and batteries, and dedicate a solar charging system to it.
