How thick and what kind of metal(s) could it handle?
Inquiring minds want to know... ;)

Haha, oh do they? ;)

1 inch steel, and 1/2 inch aluminum. It was incredible to watch. Not a water jet, but still fun to manage a piece of equipment like that.

Wow, 1 inch?

Do you recall the make and model of that laser cutter? I'd like to read about it...

Have you ever heard of Brown's Gas? I have a Brown's Gas torch that will cut through more than an inch of steel... Brown's Gas is somewhat magical. ;)

Care for a video? ;)

A brown’s gas torch?! I am officially jealous.

Wow, thanks, that is one very slick piece of machinery... I want one in my shop. ;)

Fun to watch; similar to Brown's Gas in that it takes considerable time for the pierce to occur, after which the cutting is faster because the entire edge of the metal is exposed.

Interesting to see the "bed of nails" on which the work material is supported.

THANKS!
