Avatar - The End of the Legend - Chapter I / FanFic - Tribute

This is an alternative story to the events that occurred in the Nickelodeon series, The Legend of Korra subsequent to the story of Avatar The Last Airbender. Taking as a hypothetical case the fact that the antagonist of the first season Amon achieved its mission and could snatch the powers to all the masters of the elements, as well as the Avatar and thus achieving a new era without teachers of any of the types of elements.

A thousand years have passed since the atrocious events of Amon and everything was in presumed peace, all had forgotten those atrocities and among all they already knew or had died or killed them. A cruel massacre of people was carried out to silence them and with fear they had infused the hearts and minds of the citizens in order to forget.

The no-masters (normal people) lived together in harmony, and all the masters seemed extinct, there was no trace of any kind of control of the elements; everything was common and current. As part of the control of the masses, in order to eradicate from the minds of all those traces of civilizations capable of controlling the elements, the continents were renamed, the 4 nations after centuries of existing changed their names with the only objective of forget.

The northern water tribe adopted the name: The Aquautem tribe; similarly, the southern water tribe would be renamed as: The Aquacendit tribe. Those two great water nations changed their names forgetting the millions of waterbenders that once existed and that now would only be forgotten. As for the nation of fire Igntem was the chosen name and Terraegno was formerly known as the earth kingdom. As for the temples of the air they tried not to completely lose the traditions naming them all as the Caeli-Templa, these were turned into tourist places of reflection, they were 4 and they were known as North, Meridianam, Hoc and Plagam.

And as the nations changed their name, they also changed their form of government, the Consolidation Order was dissolved due to the high amount of power concentrated in only 15 people representing the interests of approximately 100 million people. For this reason the Organization of Nations was created, a cabinet of magistrates and deputies, to be correct are about 10 magistrates and 40 deputies that make up the world power.

The magistrates must be divided so that each nation has 3, with the exception of Terraegno who must have 4 in power because it is the largest area of land in the continent and the deputies are divided evenly among all nations . Apart from this, each nation has its ruler that the one elected by its own people and this postulates the necessary number of magistrates and deputies for the Organization of Nations.

Among the most important people we find Alator who is one of the magistrates from the nation of Igntem, passionate about peace and first exponent in the fulfillment of the mandates and laws, and with him his great friend Edenom, who is a deputy from the kingdom of Terraegno, great friends and maximum exponents in the laws.

Once we know the current situation of the continent and the powers, we turn to the nation of Igntem where in a remote place something strange is taking place, unnatural and anti-human practices, it seems that Amon achieved more than what is I thought, I had achieved something unthinkable, but possible. Omenoh a successor of Amon was the head of the plans that were carried out in that place, it seems that Amon managed to do something that nobody ever expected. Omenoh is the great-great grandson of Amon's great-grandson, a future generation of his ancestry, and his legacy. A nasty, damn legacy.

In this place known as "The Factory", or at least named by those inside, was an almost adult young man known by the name of Radent, this was a person biologically altered. In that place he continued doing something that Amon thought but never imagined possible. In that place masters of all disciplines were artificially being created, as much earth, as fire, water and (although in many failed attempts) air.

All this happened because Amon in the past had managed to escape the explosion caused by it, but not only that, but managed to escape with blood samples from all the masters, and more specifically from the avatar of that time. Everything seemed confusing, but years of change managed to revolutionize science to the point of being able to perform blood cell grafts to artificially create masters of any of the types.

Radent, an artificial earthbender, was one of the best specimens in that "factory", possessed an almost innate control, could do things in days that other masters lasted in learning years, an impressive ability that translated into a very large gene compatibility. Apparently their ancestors were once earthbenders, but nobody was sure. Being of the most interesting specimens had a little brother about 4 years younger than the so-called Artelus, he had been injected with airbender genes, but like the hundreds of other specimens where airbender genes were injected, it did not seem make any kind of effect.

Radent spent every day thinking:

He slept minutes because he applied tests almost every hour, and for that he had to stay awake. Sometimes he could not even eat, it was horrible torture, but he could not leave, not without his brother. The only moments could talk to him were during meals, but sometimes for reasons and circumstances I could not talk at that time.

Radent constantly suffered the harassment of an artificial firebender named Palladi and his companion, a waterbender Quiley. They were dedicated to torment Radent for being the favorite in all the tests, despite that, they were the next two in the power tables of the masters. All suffered harassment for them, and they did not understand how Radent did not join them to help them with it.

One day, Radent is requested for a test, where they would inject a new gene into the body to enhance their skills and make it the ultimate weapon. It worked in him, he worked in others, or at least that's what it was supposed to be. He wanted to resist because he thought he would become a monster, and the least he wanted was to lose the little sanity and conscience that was left, was the last, and without that, maybe he could never save his brother.

To his surprise on the test was Omenoh, who was prepared to see the results of so many years of waiting. Seeing the resistance that opposed Radent, Omenoh gives an order to his subordinates.

Sadly they referred to Radent's brother, Artelus, they brought him gagged and blindfolded. Under the threat of murdering his brother Radent agreed to submit to the test, he did not want to see his brother suffer. But moments before receiving the vaccine with the enhancer genes his brother realized what they were trying to do and shouted at him:

Omenoh called Artelus stupid and hit him with his gun, throwing him to the ground. Seeing that action full of anger Radent entered into a rage that led him to untie where he was tied and using his powers raised his hands in the air, and with a huge blow with the palm of his hands touched the ground. That laboratory shuddered like an earthquake of disastrous magnitude and destroyed much of the equipment that was there.

Radent saw the opportunity to escape with his brother, and without thinking twice took his brother in his arms and ran out of there, the guards tried to shoot him but his power became irrepressible each time, the more angry he was. Fury led him to do something that was never allowed in ancient times. With his powers he created ground stakes and penetrating the guards killed them immediately. An escape alert sounded to alert all the guards and an alert that the target had broken the rules and his life should be exterminated.

The brothers trying to escape observe that Omenoh was lying on the floor, threatening them and asking him for an explanation of everything they had done there. He told them the story of his ancestor Amon, and he also told them how he managed to escape. It turns out that the explosion also activated a trapdoor in the ground that helped him to escape from the explosion with a suitcase full of blood samples from the masters, and to hide he decided to escape for several years to one of the old temples where no one would suspect who he was, or what he had done. With time he managed to continue with his experiments and that took him to that moment where his descendant continued with his legacy.

As last words the brothers called him inhuman and escaped, but not before doing something, Radent said to his brother:

Artelus did not know what he was talking about, but he did not argue. After 10 minutes his brother returned and using his powers he decided to create a tunnel where there were no metal floors created so that the artificial earthbenders did not escape. And in this way they managed to get away from the "factory" once and for all.
