Avatar - The End of the Legend - Prologue/Fanfic - Tribute

Good Morning / Evening to everyone, today it fills me with pleasure to bring to all of you a story of my origin, inspired by the world and events of the TV series Avatar, I hope it is to your liking.

I'm a spanish speaker, and my english level is medium/low, i fact i use the help from the google's translate. So i apologize for any orthographic mistake that could commit. Thanks for understand, now enjoy it.

This series will be divided into approximately 10 to 15 chapters that will be published weekly (Approximately) without counting the current one, which is the Prologue. I hope you enjoy it very much.

This is an alternative story to the events that occurred in the Nickelodeon series, The Legend of Korra subsequent to the story of Avatar The Last Airbender. Taking as a hypothetical case the fact that the antagonist of the first season Amon achieved its mission and could snatch the powers to all the masters of the elements, as well as the Avatar and thus achieving a new era without masters of any of the types of elements.

The avatar Korra and her enemy Amon were locked in a dark room with no access to light on the memorial island of Avatar Aang. Amon's minions tied Korra with chains by immobilizing her and taking away her powers momentarily with the handling of chi. In that way Amon proceeded to end once and for all with the avatar cycle depriving the current one of his powers once and for all.

The terrified avatar trembled with fear as he was within seconds of being left without any power to run through his body. As a last effort Korra to be in danger manages to awaken the spirit of his inner avatar lineage thus managing to dominate the Avatar State, which gives its bearer unimaginable and uncontrollable power in many cases. The wrath of the avatar lashed out at Amon's minions with him included, which came completely out of his hands. Despite this Amon had a plan and still had a few tricks up his sleeve.

Amon in a last effort to control the beast fires a tranquilizer dart from a blowgun that numbs the senses and blocks chi longer in the body of the masters of the elements. If that weapon was capable of taking away control of its element from a master for weeks, the avatar in its purest form could at least appease it.

Resulting as expected, Korra in avatar state falls exhausted to the floor with a tranquilizer in the neck. Asleep and in her last moments Amon once and for all managed to take away her power from Korra. Finishing the avatar cycle forever.

The next morning in the main square of the great Republic City, Amon with his subjects and in front of the terrified people showed the avatar chained to a pillar, suspended in the air with his body like a puppet; It almost seemed as if she were dead. Amon explained again how his plan had been successful and how his reign would spread throughout the world, detailing very clearly how he would begin seizing the Earth Kingdom as a whole, followed by the Fire Nation and ultimately the Water Tribes, as well as He also invited all non-benders to join his army and create the new world order. A world without benders where non-benders could live more quietly and without worries that someone with a different gift could hurt them.

None of the citizens understood what was happening and really everything seemed crazy; but they quickly fell into the words of Amon, who convinced them all to form a rebellion against the masters of all nations; beginning with that of the Earth Kingdom.

And that is how the extermination of benders from all over the world began, from the masters who were in the Republic City; including the only 4 Airbenders, then ending with the earthbenders and metalbenders of the Earth Kingdom, the Firebenders and Lightningbender in the Fire Nation and even the Waterbenders in the Water Tribes. They overthrew leaders and snatched the powers of all masters in it with the only objective of creating a new order, nor did a master of the elements escape, and over time the remaining benders resigned themselves to continue living in exile and chose to lose their powers in exchange for a better life. A new era had begun; the era of non-benders.

With time due to the absence of the avatar the spiritual world began to close and to move away more and more from the physical world, until the two worlds of the other were completely isolated. Peace began to prosper again under the new order but the reality was another, what seemed peace, was really ephemeral happiness that sooner or later would come to an end.

Once the entire conquest that lasted approximately 6 years was complete, Amon now named as the Unifying Lord was a fundamental pillar of modern day society and for the same reason was his decision considered almost as a law. What it seemed was that Amon had finally achieved peace through other means, although the truth was that he had a dark plan in his hands that would shake any benders and non-benders

Approximately 10 years after the fall of the avatar and the beginning of the new era, Amon was at home; not in his rooms or in the dining room, Amon was in the basement of his home, committing the most atrocious crime that a human being could commit. Amon kept captive dozens of masters who still had their powers thinking of them with absolutely nefarious purposes, which included one of the things dissecting and knowing the structure of what was a bender inside compared to a human.

In the basement of the house of Amon were about 40 masters imprisoned and ready to apply medical, surgical and chemical tests on them, these masters were their most precious guinea pigs and their plan did not end with just analyzing each teacher in depth, He wanted more, much more. Among the benders were Tenzin's children; the last son of the Avatar Aang, several earthbenders, firebenders and waterbenders, but among all highlighted someone else. Korra was imprisoned in the prison cells, lying on the floor tied with chains made of platinum, a metal too pure to be able to be handled with some kind of metalbending.

Most notable was the fact that Korra still possessed her powers, only that she was kept sedated, as well as many of the other masters with Doku-Kowai serum, the same serum with which they had managed to paralyze Korra on the memorial island.

Amon's plan was to create a new generation of benders who would serve his cause in the future as his most faithful servants and in many cases his personal guard, what Amon did not count on was that eventually those who once called him Unifying Lord would now have fear and distrust, which would lead Amon himself to hasten his plans to engender new masters and train them to finish him with his enemies. Those who swore to respect him and gave their loyalty to Amon began to suspect that something was up to this. His requests became increasingly strange until one day he asked that the history of mankind be completely erased, making the beginning of it as it had been in the past when the rebellion began.

It was not until the one that at the time was considered the Supreme Order of Consolidated, the governing entity of the new era, constituted by a group of 15 senators; Amon included among them, who saw why the laws were fulfilled and because the new order did not become a new era of war. That Order upon hearing from Amon that request to erase the history of humanity, denied his request and suspected due to the attitude taken by him, Amon wanted something that the Order did not intend to give him and would get it yes or yes with his new generation of benders It was only a matter of time before he could achieve his mission, to reproduce a new legion of benders.

The remaining 14 senators interested in the attitude taken by Amon decided to intervene, to clarify their intentions with that request and thus reconsider according to their base points. Once at Amon's house when they arrived by surprise they found their house empty; even so something rumbled in the distance, followed the noise until they managed to find the point of origin. It came as expected from the basement of the house. The senators once there decided to break in to stop whatever Amon was doing, and to his surprise it was not at all pleasant.

The senators, seeing what was under that house, tried to learn to Amon, this one resisted to eliminate the others of the Order; his guards were too many, and for the same reason he could not do it. In a desperate attempt, Amon activates an explosive device in order to eliminate all the evidence and thus prevent them from discovering their plans completely. Without taking much time in the basement began to explode series of small bombs that would eliminate little by little the evidence, including within them the masters who were trapped.

Amon managed to destroy the entire place and all evidence of it, the senators managed to escape safely but still could not hide from the world what happened there. Newspapers speculated what had happened and people rumored things they thought they were and did not, even so, they were just right in one thing the Order had a lot of power to do what they wanted.

The Supreme Order offered an apology to an entire audience and applied a measure that they did not know well, but that was necessary. The order was expressed:

Over the years people were forgetting, and being moved by the rules imposed by the order, their customs, stories and traditions were reinvented as if they were a new species on earth with only a generation of life and a history about creation quite confusing and absurd. It could not be mentioned anything of the past, the time was now and not yesterday, always thinking about a better future.

However, humanity entered into a period of calm, but that did not stop a slowly growing larva of evil to become a huge moth. Humanity could create as many eras as it wanted, but they could never really escape their destiny; face a powerful and inevitable evil.

From now on the chapters will be published weekly, giving me enough time not to skip details or leave any gaps, this prologue works as a fictional connection of The Legend of Korra with my story. For the same reason, from the following chapters the images will be reduced to titles only (unfortunately).
