Ickied got to his feet quickly, sword drawn along with Junior Petty Officer- Boatswain’s Mate Azzuar! To the amazement of all, Galligan blinked his eyes twice and sat up straight! He snapped his head quickly to his right and then to his left and then rolled up onto one knee!

The startled Commander gave a hard eye to first to Petty Officer- Quartermaster Ickied who held a sword on him warily, and then Junior Petty Officer- Boatswain’s Mate Azzuar. He then slowly stood up, taking in the entire group as he did.

“What th' fock is goin’ oan haur mates?!" He said in a stern tone as he dusted off his tunic.

Ickied glanced quickly at Azzuar and then back at the Commander…

“Sairrr, did you say mates?” Ickied asked cautiously.
“Aye, Ahh did, an' if ye don’t want ta spend th' next month in th' brig, yoo'll stow 'att sword Petty Officer!"

Ickied’s face relaxed and a broad smile spread across it as he quickly shoved his sword back in its scabbard! Azzuar did the same and everyone sighed a huge sigh of relief!

“Commander! Commander, you’re back?!” Boy Tipper yelled as he ran forward and hugged the legs of his old friend.

Galligan glanced down and put his hand on the boy’s head, “Ahh wusnae awaur 'att Ahh had bin gone..."

“Welcome back Commander!” Azzuar said happily.
“Welcome Sairrr!” Seaman- Able Seaman Evsup replied.

“Welcome back!”, “Cheers Commander!”, “Thenk Gawd you’re back!” The rest of the group congratulated.

Galligan held Tipper close as he gazed at all of them.

“Yoo're aw actin' mighty queer...an’ what th' devil ur we doin' in thes jungle?!"
