Strong Woman (Part 14)

She is a strong woman. Though, her memory is waning. Calling her relatives with different names. They are laughing, but I don't see it as a laughable matter. It might sounds funny but thinking that she is not on her right mind is painful for her kids.

She is eating whatever foods prepared for her. Though, her foods were blended and already in liquid form. She will not respond well eating with spoon. Dropper was used so it won't be a problem for her children while feeding her. She moves her mouth and obviously eating the food in a chewing manner. Of course, she's under IV which is supplementing for her body's needs.

Checking out with her vital signs, so far it's okay. How about cancer? It is not okay. She is under diuretics so it will drain excess liquid in her body. Will the cancer eventually die? At that moment, nobody can say it will. She's in terminal state, but the hope is there. Her family is praying that someday she will be okay. Extending her life for more is what the family is aiming for.

Relatives come again. But for some of her children, dealing with them is not easy at all. There are thoughts that "are these people really sympathizing? Or they are happy on what's happening? Even the woman's sister can tell not to expect (or simply stop hoping), that is painful to hear.

Even not in her sanity, the doctor can tell she's fighting for her family. That's encouraging to hear. It's because of love, she can be strong even she is weak. She is a strong woman.
