The Wicked Step Mother

My little brother got home from school today, he told me a story that was rather touching and I wondered why on earth someone will have the mind to carry out such a great act of wickedness.

He narrated that a man came to their school to beg for money holding the pictures of two burnt people, he had come to ask for assistance from the students and he pleaded with them that while his mum and siblings were eating at the dining table, his stepmother came and she poured a certain quantity of acid on three of them.

His Mum died on the spot, and his two siblings were currently at the hospital receiving treatment, he had spent all that he had on them and the only option left to help him save their life was to beg from anyone who could help.

I felt really bad for the family and the next question I asked was, so where is the step-mother now? My brother could not provide an answer to that question and he told me that a lady that sat beside him in the class asked a similar question, but people were more interested in assisting and giving money than any other thing.

I was asking myself for the reason why someone will have the mind to carry out such a great task of wickedness to somebody else, I tried to imagine the level of pain and sadness those families will be going through right now just because someone has decided to display an extraordinary level of wickedness.
