There was an important moment here. When you think you're alone, like some kind of freak whose past couldn't possibly be acceptable, you find that you're surrounded by people fearing exactly the same thing. There is no shame, only the illusion of perfection.
I'm definitely enjoying this experience.
Thank You, I almost edited it out because I was concerned that it changed the tone of the story but I couldn't tell the story without it.
