My LEGO Creation Story Showcase: "Imperial Comm Station" part 24

The station is crippled. Smoke is coming out of the building. The great tower is leaning and is about to collapse. The constant barrage of thermal detonators and missiles as well as star destroyer blasters has heavily damaged the exterior and destroyed the interior beyond repair. All the consoles are broken and the support beams are broken. Fire is raging through the corridors and screams can be heard.

One of the many stormtroopers trapped inside the inferno that used to be their home for the past few months is attempting to escape. He found a broken collapsed roof which he could climb out off. He grabs hold of the red painted beams and pulls himself up to the black broken roof panels. He gets up, his body smoking and his armor charred. He looks out at the sun and the plate supporting him breaks and he falls to the fires below...

The special ops troopers have made their way through the station gathering everyone important to extract from the ruins. Now they are on the landing platform waiting for the fleet above to send a transport shuttle. The other troopers not chosen to survive by the Imperial council are not too happy about that. They have created a sort of a resistance. Now they have to stand their ground whilst being attacked by their own. Laser blasts fill the air. One of the white armored stormtroopers tries to run at them but is gunned down immediately.

On the bottom of the ramp separating regular unimportant soldiers from salvation they are gathering. Fighting for their lives they do not care about anything other than getting to that platform. Aimlessly shooting lasers and running at the barricade made from the broken crane for moving cargo crates. Green lasers flying all around. They are hiding behind the pillars trying to get a good shot but knowing they are already dead.

One of the spec-ops troopers with orange marking of the omega-squad pulls out a massive minigun from one of the broken crates. He picks it up and points it at the group of hiding stormtroopers. He hesitates for a second before pulling the trigger thinking about killing his brothers in arms. He convinces himself that defending this platform is the highest priority and unloads a barrage of bright red lasers on the stormtroopers. Dying screams can be heard. But it is ok because it is for the glory of the Empire...
