Spiders are definitely on the "keep at arms length" list, but there are some really beautiful species out there. I had to stop one time and take pictures of a Yellow Garden Spider. Don't have the picture any more, but here is what they look like:

We get some similar ones out in our yard also. They spin some pretty large webs.
