RE: Not All Lighthouses are Built to Guide Ships
I enjoyed the story and I love it too @rakushasu, maybe if you add a picture on your post, you'll get more attention from the readers and try to join the writing contest too like freewrites or this contest where I featured you as one of the blogger who create High Quality original content posts like you .. Here is my entry ifyou want to check out what I wrote about you >> Entry to The Pay it Forward Curation Contest : Week 29
Thanks and keep Steem it On!
Yes excellent suggestion - a cover image to catch the reader's eye is always a good idea
I found that through some post about how to attract people attention to your post at the FAQ, but I think that some people don't really care about it because they have their own way though. Thank you @carlgnash for your comment😊
When the content is good it shouldn't be that necessary... but, yes, in general that's how it works. But then again, a mediocre picture helps in nothing at all in my opinion and can also become counterproductive. Jmho.
once a reader has already clicked into a post and is reading it, I totally agree - picture isn't really needed and a poor choice can actually hurt. But as far as getting someone to click in to your post in the first place, there is really no debate. Posts with images are more likely to get clicks. Period.
Ditto.
This is the point on which to reflect. Together with the title choice, if I may add.
You beat me to him by a couple hours...
I agree on the picture comment.
(Actually, I also wanted to draw the attention of @lovenfreedom as I really think this needs further support.)
Ooppss.. I just lucky to find him right in time when I viewed the new posters in all tags😇I read all his posts and found the similar things that there's no cover images at all.. though his posts is fun to read.
I think that you can still promoti his post in the asapers or other curations too @viking-ventures😉
Hey there, I guess what you said about cover images really is true. I noticed too that posts without pictures aren't shown as prominent as those without.
I always thought I'd let my writing speak for itself, but I think adding cover images really isn't a bad idea. I'll try to keep it in mind form now on.
Thank you for your comment!
You are most welcome @rakushasu 😉 who knows you can add your own drawings too.. because you're the one who create that imagination into a story😊 I almost skipped your post because there's no picture.. but then I read through and I found it's really cool.
Hope that my suggestion won't get you in trouble 😅 if you're busy to find a perfect picture.. you don't have time to write another great story then.
