Exploration of our universe

We've been fighting each other for as long as we know it but do we really have to? I believe not, exploration of our universe might be the only thing that can save our humanity both physically, mentally and even spiritually. It would mean that we have a common goal, everyone working toward it; this will drastically solve alot of issues we have today.
