Back to the future steem

The robotic arm handed me my fishing gear from the vehicle, it's amazing how much ride shares are advancing these days.  Hyperloop has become the transportation king but ridesharing is still used in the rural areas and wilderness. I tried out the new "uber fast" uber ride, you pay more for the faster ride but I will make the expenses back in the live Steem post. It was 5 Steem Dollars for the ride from the hyperloop hub to the lake. The day was perfect for fishing and with the lake almost empty on an early Wednesday morning, I am hoping the payouts will be higher.

I walked down to the Van Hook marina and set my gear down on the doc, the automated harbor chirped in my VR glasses. Using the Holo I previewed boats in the water finally settling on the new tesla fishing boat with auto pilot. I could hear the automated marina humming as a large arm selected the boat from a variety of vessels off a wall and gingerly placed it in the water. While I waited for the boat to drive over to my location, I  typed a quick pre post add to my followers: live fishing trip with the new rod and reel from Cabelas and added a 360 view of the area. My Steemit account chirped at me notifying me of 3 bounties. I clicked on the contracts tab to accept the deals. The first deal was from Cabelas they, of course, saw my post and offered a steem power upvote of 50,000 and $2 for every $10 payout from the live post with a gear and store tag condition. 2nd was from the marina, easy payout of $1 for tagging the marina and for $3 more, a floating advertisement for 7% of noncritical screen real estate. I was hoping for a better bounty than a $1 tag seeing as the Sakakawea.boat_traffic_bot is reporting only 3 transmitting boats at this time, no pros, and no competitions the demand for a tag should be $2-4 higher. The 3rd offer was from the local gas and bait shop, they wanted me to reveal each good fishing spot exclusively to them for $1. This is a reasonable offer, they will use highlights from my live post in a click bait (pun intended) add, but it's good publicity for my gear blog.  I accepted Cabelas and the bait shops contracts. Passing on the marina usually, makes them reconsider offering a lowball contract and likely rebid a more reasonable bounty. Once the contracts are excepted I picked up my fishing rod so the VR glasses can auto scan my equipment and tag the manufacturer to my post. VR glasses accurately highlight my gear and tag the model and manufacturer to my post. This brings in a new bounty of $3 for a 15-second catch (>19") of the day highlight from the rod manufacturer. Each contract is auto-filled into the live blog with a witness standing by to confirm completion of the bounties.

I loaded all my gear into the boat and replied to boats AI voice confirming mission was a go. Hearing the Tesla AI voice reminds me why I am doing this, I am saving my steem dollars for a trip to Mars. Since the first Red Dragon trip to Mars, the first adventurers have been trending 24/7 not just on high traffic times. The critics of Mars missions have had to eat a lot of crow these days, who would have thought that live blogging a trip to another planet would be so lucrative. With the side shares in asteroid mining, it is amazing to see the first billionaire bloggers. The capital they have infused into an industry that was nonexistent 10 years ago has been astounding. The next trip in 2 years people and companies will be creating huge infostructures all the way from LEO to Mars. Live blogging a trip to Mars is a Steemit gold mine, some compare it to the payouts of the former reality shows on the old proverbial cable shows. With all that money being generated in Mars, everyone wants to get a piece of the pie, and the smart ones want to create a market in the new frontier.

The boat pulls up to my first fishing spot, and I activate my personal GoPro cube. The cube breaks apart and flies to post at optimal areas of the boat and one camera flies over the top to cover a 30-yard diameter of my fishing spot. I attach a lure to my line with a sonar camera giving a 3d picture of the fish as they come up to take the bait. The cube and electronic lure show up on my HUD with green lights indicating synced and ready to broadcast. I activate the post to go online and broadcast and confirm Cabellas upvote. The radiation from the sun warms the air as it rises up over the eastern horizon. I cast my line and the air camera pans out and gets a sweet shot of the sunrise and me standing on the bow of the boat. The fishing chair arises from the floor of the bow and I relax and pull up the stats on my post. The numbers are a bit slow but my regular friends, I have made in Steemit, have upvoted me and or bookmarked the show for later. I decide to promote the post in hopes of getting a few new viewers but I decide to check out the trending to see Who might be taking up some of the traffic, dammit! dollarvigilante is talking about Mars bucks again and everyone is up in arms about the "quality" of steemit.
