Story Of A Father And SON Will Change Your Way Of Looking At Things :)
This is the story that I have listened when I am pursuing my schooling. Its one of the best stories that I have listened too. Hope u will like it and change your way of thinking :)
Story of a Father and Son :
One fine day a father took his young son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose to show him how poor people can be. They spent a day and a night in the farm of a very poor family. When they got back from their trip the father asked his son ,
Father : "How was the trip?"
Son : "Very Good, Dad !!!"
Father : "Did you see how poor people can be ?"
Son : "Yeah !!!!"
Father : "And what did u learn?"
Son :
" I saw that we have a dog at home and they have four(he considered the people too).We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden, they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lamps in the garden, they have the millions of lamps in the form of stars and a big lamp called MOON which shows them the path. Our patio reaches to the front yard, they have a whole horizon. We have smart phones and gadgets which help in connecting to our relatives but when they come on to the streets every person they see on their street is a relative for them."
When the little boy was finishing the father was speechless
His son then added, " Thanks, Dad , for showing me how poor we are!"
Isn't it true that it all depends on the way you look at things ? If you have love, friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude towards life, you have got everything!!!
You cant buy any of these things. You can have all the materials possessions you can imagine, provisions for the future, etc., but if you are poor of spirit, you have nothing .
